Guard Monitoring System or Guard Patrol System or Guard Tour System is a very important system for ensuring that your Guards are Patrolling and monitoring your valuable property.

We are investing a lot by deploying Guards for protecting our property, but we are not sure if they are doing their duty or sleeping at Night. We need a system to ensure that Guards are awake and taking a round of the premise at regular interval. For ensuring the same, we should have a Guard Patrolling System in place to have peace of mind.

There are different systems available in the market, but Rosslare’s Guard Patrolling System “DigiTool” is one of the oldest and best system available in the market. They are one of the pioneers of Guard Patrolling System and offers a very stable and robust system.

Rosslare’s Guard Monitoring System consists of –

READER (GC-01) – It’s a battery-operated reader which will be carried by the Guard while patrolling. Here are the important features of Rosslare GC-01 Data Acquisition Reader –

  1. Powerful 1800 mAh Lithium-ion battery. Once charged, it works for next six months.
  2. Polycarbonate and carbon-hardened stainless-steel casing so that it can be used outdoor and can not be easily damaged even by falling.
  3. High Storage – Can store 8000 events / transaction data.
  4. 3 Types of Reading Indication – LED, Buzzer and Vibration.

    ROSSLARE GC-01 Data Acquisition Reader

DATA DOWNLOADER / CHARGER (GC-02) – With USB connectivity, its used for downloading the data from the reader GC-01. At the same time, its also used for Charging the Reader. The Location Tags – GA-01 are also programmed through GC-02 only.

LOCATION TAG (GA-01) – Location Tags are iBUtton Tags installed / fixed at different locations within the premise where we want our Guards to visit during the patrolling. Locations Tags are programmed with name of the location where it will be fixed. Any number of Location Tags can be installed within a premise as per the requirement. It needs to be fixed with 2 screws which are covered and not visible.

Guard Monitoring System Working –

  • Route Map needs to be defined with the Software and a printout needs to be given to the Guard to follow the same.
  • Guard with his assigned GC-01 Reader go for patrolling as per given Route Map. He needs to punch / touch the Reader with Location Tags installed at different locations with every patrol. Beep, Vibration and LED will confirm the reading of the Tags to avoid any missing of Tags.
  • GC-01 needs to put inside GC-02 connected to PC for downloading the Data.
  • Reports can be generated using the software for review.
